PetroChina Co.'s Jilin province unit aims to boost oil and gas output to 7.8 million metric tons in 2012, according to a statement posted on the website of group parent China National Petroleum Corp.
The provincial unit reiterated its goal of increasing output to 10 million tons by 2015, according to the statement.
