China's Tianhe Gas will likely start its 300,000 cubic metre/day (cbm/day) liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant at Cangzhou in north China's Hebei province in the second half of April.
Gas will be mainly supplied by PetroChina's North China Oilfield, and the output will be supplied to local industrial units.
The company also plans to build the second phase with a capacity of 600,000 cbm/day, but has no specific schedules yet.
Tianhe Gas, based in east China's Jiangsu province, is mainly engaged in the production and sales of industrial gas and LNG. It also invests and runs downstream utilisation facilities.
